Description of the Skialpin center.
Skialpin center is located 7 kilometers away from Karakol City in a picturesque gorge. The center is situated at the altitude of 2300 meters above sea level. Skiing season starts from the end of October and finishes at the end of April. (season duration is 6 months). The length of a ski route is 2300 m., average slope - 26 , maximum slope – 43, minimum slope –5; altitude difference – 650 meters. The skiing route has 2 elevators, the first – 1200 m. long and the second – 650 m. long.
Hotel ( 10 rooms).
Double room ( toilet, hot and cold running water) – 40 EURO. Food, skiing fee and rent of equipment are separate additional charges.
“Shale” cottage house ( 2 houses).
“Shale” cottage house – 150 EURO. One cottage house accommodates 8-10 people. (lobby, 4 sleeping rooms, toilet, hot and cold running water).
Cable way
- From 9 a.m. till 4 p.m. – 4 EURO
- From 9 a.m. till 12 (noon) or from 12 (noon) till 4 p.m. – 3 EURO
- For children up to 14 years from 9 a.m. till 4 p.m. – 2 EURO
Rent of ski equipment
- Skiing set ( skis, boots, sticks) – 8 EURO
- Snowboard (board, boots) – 10 EURO
- Instructor 1 day - 10 EURO
- Snowmobile with instructor 10 minutes / 1 hour – 25 EURO/ 150 EURO
Food
On request a client can pay an individual food order or lodging ( 8 EURO a day).
Transport
Karakol City – mountain skiing center – Karakol City – by Russian military off-road “UAZ” vehicle ( 7 seats) – 25 EURO.
Accommodation in Karakol City
2 and 3 room well furnished and well equipped apartments – 5 EURO a person.
